Does technology help or harm sustainability?

The belief that resources shouldn’t be used faster than they are replenished is driving innovations in all areas of business. Consumers are demanding greater sustainability from the brands they use, but can companies step up to deliver? The desire to be seen as a sustainable leader is leading businesses to deploy novel technologies in areas they had previously never considered—but are these technologies doing more harm than good?
