Our digital print technology is breaking barriers in what has traditionally been offset production, showcasing the transformative power of digital printing. For the first time, the drupa Daily is being printed using both offset and digital printing with long cover runs produced on HP Indigo presses and HP’s PrintOS creativity tools.
HP is proud to be printing the covers of approximately 64,000 drupa Daily magazines using our cutting-edge digital presses: the HP Indigo 120K and HP Indigo 18K Digital Presses.
Every day at drupa 2024, HP brings the drupa Daily covers to life on the show floor, utilizing the Liquid Electrophotography (LEP) printing technology for precision and efficiency. Covers will then be sent to Schaffrath MedienDruck, for binding and delivery to Messe Dusseldorf in time for the arrival of the day’s visitors. Copies of each day’s drupa Daily will be available at each of the Messe’s three entrances as well as other locations throughout the show floor.
With the unmatched precision of HP Indigo presses, we effortlessly handle long cover runs daily, ensuring exceptional quality. The show daily covers are imposed on B2 sheets for higher print efficiency, using different media substrates to showcase the versatility of the HP presses. Each day, our presses bring to life a unique cover design, incorporating HP SmartStream Designer Mosaic for creative diversity.
